About me

Hey there! My full name is María Juliana Cerón Güiza, but no one has the time to say all those names so I just go by Juliana Cerón. I am originally from Bogotá, Colombia but I lived in New York City for two and a half years while attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and currently reside in Panamá City, Panamá.

I’m primarily an actress and singer, though I have training and experience in dance and theater production. I’ve had the joy of performing in musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent, and Mamma Mia, but I find comfort in sharing stories that truly resonate with audience members. One of my most challenging roles was serving as both actress and producer of the play Heridas, which I also translated into Spanish. The play was featured in the Colombian theater festival Ni Con el Pétalo de una Rosa (Not Even with a Rose Petal), organized by Colombian actress Alejandra Borrero to help eradicate gender violence.
